Remotely Activate GPS

MoosTrax (and most all) GPS programs that access/power the GPS continously are battery drains. Remotely activating/deactivating the GPS would be helpful particularly when you know you don't need position information during a particular time frame. If you could run MoosTrax fulltime and still have it contact the server, but toggle the GPS access on and off, that should be helpful on battery drain. You might do that by setting a flag on the server so when the client checked in, it would tell the GPS to turn on/off and start polling or not. You would set the flag by logging in to Moostrax via the internet. Or, you could send some type of sms/email message. (Setting the server flag might work better.)
