To get the software up and running on your GPS-enabled BlackBerry follow these steps:

  1. Register for an account online and click the link in the confirmation E-mail you receive.
  1. On your BlackBerry, go to  http://www.moostrax.com/ota in the browser.
  1. Approve the download. If asked if you want the application to be trusted, say yes.
  1. Go to Options (wrench icon) on the BlackBerry and scroll down to MoosTrax and click it.
  1. Enter the login and password you registered on the website with on the MoosTrax setup screen.
  1. Click on "Auto-login on power up."
  1. Change update interval and distance interval if desired. this controls how often data is sent.
  1. Click on the BlackBerry menu button to bring up a list of commands. Scroll to Login and click it, or click the Login button.
  1. Upon successful login your device will automatically be added to your account on the website for tracking.

You will not be able to track your device or see any data on the website until you have successfully logged in on the BlackBerry and your BlackBerry has sent at least one valid GPS fix.
